Tarragon Mustard Recipe

Tarragon Mustard
This simple tarragon mustard makes a tasty dipping sauce for shrimp or fresh vegetables. It also tastes good in chicken salad and potato salad. It's a delicious accompaniment to broiled, fatty fish like salmon, too.

Tarragon Mustard Recipe

Ingredients

3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 Tsp. Red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. Finely chopped, fresh tarragon (or 2 tsp. dried)
3/4 C. Mayonnaise (low fat okay)
1/4 C Sour cream (fat free okay)
1/2 Tsp. Lemon juice
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. paprika (sweet paprika is best)
1//4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients and stir to incorporate. 
  2. Refrigerate for six hours or overnight before serving. 
In a tightly sealed container, tarragon mustard will stay fresh up to five days in the refrigerator.
